My name has changed

Pro pic hell.

So I am sure being a photographer is a dangerous job and I will tell you why.

When you get married your friends post all kinds of pics on facebook in all sorts of unattractive angles.
Well, as a newlywed you start to panic. Did I really look like THAT on my wedding day? The real answer only comes when your photog gives up the goods. Sometimes photogs post a couple pics after the wedding to get the newlyweds off their back for awhile.... Since 1000 pictures take some serious time to edit.

After 5 weeks, we received this picture and a couple others. The picture is straight awesome! Unfortunately, it does not give me an idea of whether or not I REALLY looked intensely bloated that day. I know that sounds crazy, but may face is pretty crazy looking in all of my friends pictures!

This may seem intensely vein, but I am just telling you the feeling that occurs right after the wedding.... Extreme joy and then panic. Today is exactly 5 weeks and 3 days. Today our photog has posted a new tweet (?) with a screen shot attached of our pics..... the pics are half the size of a thumbnail. This is torture. I am just sayin photogs who take an extreme amount of time (like 3months+) should watch out. I now understand the pain of the wait.

On a more positive note:

I am now a Meadows :)

Adam and I had an awesome honeymoon despite our wacky sickness we picked up on the way there. St. Lucia is georgous -- everyone should go at least once. We took a helicopter from the airport. Scary but awesome. We did alot of hanging out at the pool and in our room. Can not wait to take another vacation like that one.

We have not been able to really enjoy "married life" quite yet because of all the weddings going on this month. My best friend got married last weekend. It was really awesome to return the favor of Matron of Honor and let me tell you it is extremely hard work!!

This weekend we are headed out to Auburn for our first visit of the football season. We are really hoping they do a lot better than last weekend.

Hopefully I will have some fun stories to share soon
